Pile Adaptor & Drive Tool Guide
The pile adaptor / drive tool connects the hydraulic drive to the pile system. It must match the drive output on one side and the pile manufacturer's connection on the other.
Not sure which adaptor you need? Send us the drive output and pile shaft/connection.
Start With the Drive Output
Common drive outputs in the Rev-Pile catalog include:
- 2" Hex
- 2-1/2" Hex
- 3" Hex
- 75 mm Square
- 100 mm Square
Then Identify the Pile Connection
The pile side may use a drive can, flange, shaft sleeve or another pile-manufacturer-specific connection. Do not order an adaptor from the drive output alone.
Hex-to-Flange Adaptors
Rev-Pile carries 2.5" Hex and 3" Hex to 12-bolt flange adaptors. A low-profile 2.5" Hex version is also available for the MM-10K drive family.
Drive Tools & Drive-Can Sleeves
Drive tools and sleeves are available for common round pile shaft sizes including 2-3/8", 2-7/8", 3-1/2" and 4-1/2", depending on the installation system.
Torque Monitor Placement
If a direct torque monitor is used, the full driveline must still be compatible:
Hydraulic Drive → Torque Monitor → Hub / Flange / Drive Tool → Pile
Make sure each connection matches physically and is suitable for the expected installation torque.
Do Not Use a Visual Guess
Two adaptors can look very similar in a product photo while using different shaft sizes, bolt patterns or male/female interfaces. Select by written dimensions, SKU and connection description.
